Who are we?

We are an English magazine in Prague, under the auspices of Charles University, dedicated to contemporary original publications and reviews. We are eager to help emerging artists develop their skills and facilitate their voyage to potential success in the intricate maze that is human expression. Our core is an independent group of like-minded individuals who wish to promote that cause. We constantly keep searching for a variety of talents producing (and willing to accrue well-based critique to) any form of art. Our motto can be best summarised in the words of Gustave Flaubert: “Of all lies, art is the least untrue.”

We do our best to crank out insightful reviews on recent works in theatre, poetry and fiction, produced and published, as well as shed light on what is going on in the world of cinema today; focusing on festival nominations and independent filmmaking in general. Interviews and art exhibitions are no exceptions either.

Our top priority is to draw the public’s attention to any form of art that has been overlooked by mainstream media.
